The NEDA Regional Office in Central Luzon has been identified to host NEDA’s essential systems and data, as part of it’s Public Service Continuity Plan.
The critical data and information systems at the NEDA Central Office will be backed up at NRO 3 where installation of facility requirements has already started.
In the event that the Central Office’s infrastructure becomes unusable and non-operational due to unforeseen events, the facility in NRO 3 will function as the agency’s ICT off-site backup facility or disaster recovery site. As a result, the main systems and data will be immediately available for restoration, assuring NEDA’s continued operation.
The data is expected to be backed up by August 2022. When the facility becomes fully functional, data will be transmitted electronically from the Central Office’s data center to the authorized facility at NRO 3.
