The Regional Development Council III (RDC III) geared up for the formulation of the Central Luzon Regional Development Plan (CL-RDP) 2023-2028 with the approval of the RDP Planning Guidelines during its Special Meeting on 12 October 2022.

The CL-RDP 2023-2028 is targeted to be completed by February 2022.  It  will adopt the Philippine Development Plan  Framework which defines economic transformation as the overall goal for the nest six year.  This economic transformation is expected to  bring the country back to its high growth trajectory and realize the vision for a prosperous, inclusive, and resilient society.

The PDP/RDP 2023-2028 is anchored on the 8-point socioeconomic agenda of the President and the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. It is geared towards the country’s long-term vision of a matatag, maginhawa, at panatag na buhay para sa lahat.

With the approval of the Planning Guidelines, The RDC will now organize the Regional Planning Committees and Subcommittees using the existing Sectoral Committees.  Each Committee will be tasked to prepare specific chapters of the RDP.
